Ingredients

3 Green apples (Granny Smith), peeled and cored

3 Large eggs

3/4 cup Granulated sugar or brown sugar

1/2 cup Vegetable oil

1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour

1 tsp Baking powder

1 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Garnish: Powdered sugar for dusting

Grate Apples: Chop or grate 2 of the apples in the food processor (Magimix) using the shredding blade, or pulse until finely diced.

Mix Batter: Add the eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt directly into the food processor bowl. Pulse a few times until a smooth, uniform batter forms.

Pan Assembly: Pour the cake batter into a greased and parchment paper-lined loaf tin or round cake pan. Slice the remaining 1 apple thinly and arrange the slices neatly over the top of the batter.

Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Dust & Serve: Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
