Healthy Snacks, DIY Sweets, Chocolate Nuts, No-Bake Treats
Ingredients
-
2 cups Whole raw or dry-roasted almonds
-
150g Dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher), melted
-
2–3 tbsp Pure unsweetened cocoa powder
-
1/2 tsp Sea salt flakes (optional for contrast)
-
1 tbsp Maple syrup or honey (optional for extra sweetness)
Method
-
01
Prep Almonds: Place the whole almonds in a clean, dry container or bowl. If using raw almonds, optionally dry-roast them in a pan for 3–5 minutes for extra crunch.
-
02
Coat with Chocolate: Melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second bursts. Pour the melted chocolate over the almonds.
-
03
Mix & Coat: Close the container lid and shake vigorously, or mix with a spatula until every almond is evenly coated in melted chocolate.
-
04
Cocoa Dusting: Add the unsweetened cocoa powder (and optional pinch of sea salt) into the container. Shake or toss well to ensure the cocoa powder coats the outer layer of the chocolate almonds and separates them into individual bites.

05
Set & Store: Transfer to a parchment paper-lined tray or keep in an airtight glass jar in the fridge for 15 minutes to firm up. Enjoy as a healthy chocolate snack!
